I am an Assistant Professor of Accounting at the University of Texas at El Paso, where I teach in the Woody L. Hunt College of Business. My research examines how accounting information shapes decisions across organizational boundaries — with an emphasis on supply-chain relationships, executive characteristics, and the role of artificial intelligence in accounting.

Before entering academia I worked as a chief financial officer and internal auditor, and I bring that practitioner perspective to both my research and my teaching. I hold a Ph.D. from The Ohio State University and am a Certified Management Accountant.
